Arsenal are ready to make Real Madrid star forward Rodrygo one of the highest earners at the Emirates, journalist Graeme Bailey has claimed.
The Gunners remain keen on a summer deal for the Brazilian winger and are reportedly willing to offer him an eye-watering contract, potentially worth in excess of £300,000 per week.
Rodrygo is said to be concerned about his future at Real Madrid following the arrival of new boss Xabi Alonso, and there is a possibility he could depart in the coming weeks of the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are prepared to offer the 24-year-old forward a starting role on the left wing, which is believed to be Rodrygo’s preferred position.

According to Bailey, Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta has been doing ‘a lot’ of background work on Rodrygo in recent weeks and has held preliminary talks with the player's camp.
Real Madrid are believed to be open to the 24-year-old winger’s departure for around £70million, despite his £100m valuation, but would also be happy to keep Rodrygo as another wide option for Alonso.
The Spanish tactician reportedly has no issues with the Brazilian and would be happy to work with him, although strong competition for places is unlikely to guarantee him regular minutes next season.
Rodrygo, who joined Real from Santos in 2019, is under contract for another three seasons, until June 2028.
Arsenal remain keen on bolstering Mikel Arteta’s frontline with a new winger this summer but are now unlikely to succeed in their pursuit of long-term target Nico Williams.
The Spanish forward is believed to be prioritising a summer move to Barcelona, who are expected to activate his release clause in the coming weeks.
