Micah Peavy used to be on the opposite end of basketball games Wisconsin natives cheer for but in case what a Milwaukee Bucks analyst happens, these Wisconsinites might have the choice of cheering for him.

William Moxon of Behind the Buck Pass put forward the idea that the Buck should target the Georgetown Hoyas stand out for its 47th pick as it will solve two problems at once.

First is to fill the role to be vacated by the absence of injured Damian Lillard and second, an answer in case Kevin Porter Jr. who had a strong end to the season leaves.

“His mid-range pull-up is solid, giving the Bucks another scorer who would take pressure and attention away from Giannis Antetokounmpo,” the author wrote.

“Peavy’s timing is also good on offense, judging when to make smart cuts, and he has a big enough body to fight through contact with bigger players to make layups.”

Peavy can also be a replacement for Pat Connaughton who opted to his player option. Connaughton used to be the go-to-guy when the team needs a 3-and-D player on the wing.

Milwaukee Bucks’ guard situation

The Bucks guard situation is not defined right now aside from Lillard’s absence. However, they do have a surplus in shooting guards.

KPJ, who analysts say should be a top priority for the Bucks after a stellar short stint, is rumored to be ready to test the free agency.

The team also has AJ Green and Ryan Rollins who will likely stay. Bucks great and game commentator Marques Johnson spilled recently that the duo will join Giannis Antetokounmpo in Greece for a workout. There is a high chance they will stay.

Peavy could come in just in case Porter Jr. gets traded.
