Everton now need to push on in the summer transfer window to bolster David Moyes’ squad.
A long summer lies ahead of Everton, who are in need of a lot of new faces in the market to prepare themselves for the 2025/26 campaign.
Moyes will be aware of the task at hand for the Blues this summer as Everton have already waved goodbye to so many players as free agents.
Everton are looking for attacking additions above all, with lots of improvements needed across their squad.
However, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to leave Everton at the end of his current deal, a new striker is top of the agenda.
Fortunately for the Blues, there has been a promising development, with one of their attacking forwards now greenlighting a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton are keen to sign Thierno Barry from Villarreal this summer having identified him as one of their top striker targets.
The youngster has been subject of positive talks between the two sides in recent weeks, and it seems there has been another development.

This will be a real boost for the Toffees as they look to land an early signing to address their biggest need of the summer, and Barry has already been hailed ‘excellent‘ by talent scout Jacek Kulig.
Moyes is open to signing two strikers this summer, given Everton are losing Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja.
But this will be a positive step forward for the 62-year-old boss who has been made to wait weeks without a new face signing for Everton.
Everton need multiple striker signings
There has been a clear intent from Everton to go out and sign a new striker in the early stages of the summer window.
Chelsea beat Everton to Liam Delap, with the Englishman’s signature all but secured before the window even opened.
But there are other options for the Blues.
Everton also hold interest in Nick Woltemade, who is currently lighting up the U21 Euros with Germany.
Adding more than one striker will be crucial for Moyes and providing some real competition could prove a game changer after years of underwhelming displays from Everton’s goalscorers.
