Bryan Mbeumo drops huge Man Utd transfer tease after fresh £60m bid

Bryan Mbeumo has dropped a huge transfer tease after reports on Monday claimed that Manchester United had sent Brentford an improved £60million bid. Ruben Amorim is on the brink of adding Mbeumo to his attacking ranks, and the 25-year-old may already be getting to know his new teammates behind the scenes.

United's attempts to close a deal for Mbeumo has extended across June after he chose Old Trafford as his preferred destination. The Cameroon international snubbed Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur to prioritise the Red Devils. Brentford rejected an initial offer worth £45m plus £10m in add-ons, reportedly demanding a guaranteed £60m transfer fee.

United may have met those demands with their new offer as they push to recruit their next target before pre-season commences on July 7.

And eagle-eyed supporters have noticed a difference in Mbeumo's social media that suggests he's already connecting with Amorim's players.

Amid the flurry of excitement over United's renewed offer, fans on social media pointed out that Mbeumo and Leny Yoro now follow each other on Instagram.

Yoro, who landed at Old Trafford in a £52m transfer last summer, also liked the Brentford star's latest post on the platform.

Mbeumo shared a photo carousel of his time off so far, which has included visits to the French Open, Montreal Grand Prix and Niagra Falls.
