Everton have made their interest in Villareal striker Thierno Barry no secret as David Moyes looks to improve his squad.
The future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin is still uncertain, with his contract on Merseyside expiring on 30 June.
Regardless of whether he stays put or leaves, though, the Blues certainly need attacking reinforcements, and Barry could be part of that.

Everton keen to negotiate on Barry deal
As Everton look to bring in new attacking options this summer, Barry is certainly someone who fits the profile of what Moyes is looking for.
At just 22-years-old, the forward will help to reduce the average age of the squad and give Everton more mobility going forward.

The youngster is currently competing at the under-21 European Championship with France, where he will surely be keen to catch the eye of his potential new side.
It has been reported by The i (24 June) that Barry is keen on making a move to the Premier League this summer.
The newspaper states that triggering the £40million release clause that Villarreal have put on their player is not Everton’s favoured route.
They are instead hoping to go into negotiations with the La Liga outfit in the hopes of agreeing to pay a lower fee for his services.

Barry could be what Everton need
Barry could prove to be the perfect addition as Everton prepare for their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
As well as bringing a youthful aspect to the side, Barry has certainly proved his abilities already, and the tall striker also brings physicality to his game.
After scoring 11 goals in 35 games last season, the young star could adapt to the Premier League, having already done the same in Spain.

Barry had a solid season with Villarreal.
Barry also registered four assists for Villarreal, showing his ability to contribute to his side’s attack even when he isn’t directly scoring.
Since taking over from Sean Dyche earlier in the year, Moyes has certainly improved Everton’s attacking force and he is clearly committed to taking that forward.
