Alejandro Garnacho has caused quite the stir this week with some of his actions on social media.
Indeed, Alejandro Garnacho posted a picture of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt with Marcus Rashford’s name on the back.
Inevitably, United fans didn’t take too kindly to seeing Garnacho wearing another team’s shirt, and many fans online and pundits in the media have hit out at Garnacho.
Garnacho is set to leave United this summer, and he may be set to leave under a dark cloud now.
There has been quite the response to Garnacho’s social media post, and many have given quite visceral reactions, going as far as to label the attacker immature and disrespectful.
One man who wasn’t happy with Garnacho was Troy Deeney who laid into the Argentine for his antics.

Deeney spoke about Garnacho on TalkSPORT.
The pundit was far from happy with the Manchester United attacker, claiming that his teammates should ‘smash’ him in training after this post.
“That’s the most immature thing I’ve seen from Garnacho. It’s so immature. I didn’t think you’d get that from Garnacho,” Deeney said.
“What are you doing? Why are you trying to wind everyone up and wind up the club that’s paying your wages?’
“They obviously think they’ve got a move lined up. It’s a new generation so I’ve got to be careful not to sound like the old, grumpy man.
“But he needs a clip around the ear. Give him a clip around the ear. He’s bored and has got no respect.
“If it was me at United, if I was Fernandes, I’d wait until he came back and smash him in training. I genuinely would.
“I’m not even trying to make headlines, I’d smash him and say to him, “this is Man United, who do you think you are you little dope?”
Jeremie Frimpong did exactly the same as Alejandro Garnacho
Garnacho appears to be public enemy number one after posing in an Aston Villa shirt, but, strangely, we’ve had a similar situation recently that wasn’t overblown in the same sort of way.
Indeed, last year Liverpool’s Jeremie Frimpong was pictured posing in an Aston Villa shirt while he was still a Bayer Leverkusen player.
However, when the £30m man was in this situation, the whole thing wasn’t overblown in this same way, he remained a fan favourite at Bayer Leverkusen and the entire situation was handled with dignity and respect.
Unfortunately, at a club like Manchester United, everything is turned into a circus and a player will be chastised for something like this in a way that players at other clubs aren’t.
Garnacho probably was ill-advised to post this sort of picture, but it’s hardly the worst thing any footballer has ever done.
We’ve seen tons of footballers wearing other teams’ kits over the years, Mykhaylo Mudryk wore an Arsenal shirt before joining Chelsea, while Frimpong even wore an Arsenal kit last season.
Players can wear other kits when they’re not in training, and, for the most part, that is completely normal, but when a Manchester United player does this sort of thing, there are bound to be fireworks.
