“I’m trying to concentrate”–Player asked about Chelsea interest, only focused on Club World Cup

France international Randal Kolo Muani has been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United over the past few days, without there appearing to be anything concrete going on.

The striker is currently on loan at Juventus from Paris Saint-Germain, but the Bianconeri are yet to sign the player permanently and only managed to extend his stay until the end of the Club World Cup.

His future remains uncertain, and speaking to TuttoSport, the 26-year-old was asked about interest from Chelsea.

The striker revealed he has no idea about those links, with him quoted as saying: “I don’t know anything about Chelsea. I’m trying to concentrate on the Club World Cup, which is a very fast competition. Once the tournament is over we’ll see what happens on the market.”

In addition to that, Kolo Muani made it clear he’d like to stay at Juventus.

“If it were up to me alone I’d stay here: I’m really happy at Juve, I feel very good.”

The report from TuttoSport adds more detail to the Frenchman’s situation and there’s a belief the talk about Chelsea and others is just PSG’s way of earning more from the forward’s sale to Juve. They are confident that the London giants aren’t really interested in Kolo Muani.
