Derby County and Wrexham target Owen Beck also has interest from the Premier League, The Athletic has said.
Derby County and Wrexham are both gearing up for Championship football ahead of next season after very different 2024/25 seasons. While DCFC staved off relegation on the final day, the Red Dragons won automatic promotion from League One along with Birmingham City.
Both are similar in the fact they have ambitious plans for the future though, with the Rams eager to push back towards the top end of the Championship while the Hollywood-owned North Welsh club want to disrupt the Premier League regulars.

In their efforts to boost chances of success next season, Derby County and Wrexham have both been among those with eyes on Liverpool left-back Owen Beck.
However, the Championship duo are not alone, and it would appear they face some lofty competition for a deal.
The Athletic has now said that Beck has interest from the Premier League, along with the Championship and Scottish Premiership.
At this moment in time, either a loan or permanent is possible for the 22-year-old off the back of his stay at Blackburn Rovers. He impressed at Ewood Park before injury brought an early end to his campaign.
Beck has two years left on his Liverpool deal and a decision has not been made over the DCFC and Wrexham target’s future yet.
