While **West Ham** continue to struggle offloading players to kick-start our [transfer](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-transfer-news/) window, there appears to be no shortage of interest in Emerson.
So much so, in fact, that the Italy international is said to be taking his time to make the right choice. Offers from Italy, Spain, Germany, and Turkey have given the Hammers left-back plenty to think about ahead of his expected summer move.
One of the frontrunners for Emerson is Lazio, and [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/lazio-learn-west-hams-asking-price-for-emerson/) have reported this morning that West Ham have set the asking price at €10 million.
The left-back has been informed he’s not part of Graham Potter’s plans next season. He’s been an excellent servant since moving to East London, and the £13m paid to Chelsea for his services looks to have been outstanding value. In that context, the reported £8.5m price tag does seem a little on the low side.
Still, whatever his final destination, Emerson looks likely to be one of the easier players to sell this summer. After all, he’s a quality player at a very affordable price.
