Waterville Links Golf Club in South Kerry welcomed one of the NBA’s greatest ever players in Stephen (Steph) Curry this week.
The four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors was on a whistle-stop tour of the region with his brother, Seth – an NBA star with the Charlotte Hornets – and their father, Dell Curry. Damion Lee, a title winner with the Golden State Warriors in 2022, was also part of the visit.
The players posed for photographs with staff of Waterville Golf Links and enjoyed a round on the famous links course in overcast but balmy conditions.
Waterville Links Golf Club later posted a message on its Facebook page calling it ‘an honour to host such incredible talent from the basketball world. We hope you enjoyed your day on the links.’
