Illan Meslier’s future is looking increasingly likely to be away from Leeds United.
The Frenchman’s six-year spell with Leeds will more than likely come to an end this summer, with Daniel Farke’s decision looking final.
Meslier won’t settle for second choice, and with a goalkeeper a priority for Leeds, the stars are aligning.
The 25-year-old will be searching for a new club, and LeedsUnited.News have been told that Meslier is gaining interest from Turkey.
This opens the door for a replacement, and Farke can land the perfect Meslier successor for just under £2m.

Noel Tornqvist is ready and waiting for Leeds United after Illan Meslier exit
With Meslier looking likely to join either Fenerbache or Galatasaray, Leeds fans will certainly wish him the best.
Although it’s not been the fairytale ending Meslier had hoped for when he joined, the Frenchman now has the chance to prove his doubters wrong.
Now, Leeds will have to find the ideal candidate to fill the sticks in what is set to be a busy Premier League season in terms of shots faced.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
This is where Leeds target Noel Tornqvist comes in, as the Swede is very keen on a move to England this summer, as Tornqvist is open to joining Leeds.
Alfredo Pedulla follows up on this interest, but Farke and the 49ers will face competition for the 23-year-old’s signature.
It’s stated that clubs in Italy and England have Tornqvist on their ‘shopping list’ for this summer.
Parma, Empoli, and Cremonese are Tornqvist’s suitors from Italy, whereas Leeds and a few other Championship clubs, including Charlton Athletic, like him in England.
With a contract until December 2026, parent club Mjallby could be looking to sell on, as a £1.7m fee has been reported.

Leeds run the same risk of Tornqvist as they did with Meslier
On the whole, Meslier’s time in Yorkshire has to be deemed a failure.
The Frenchman was meant to be the next big thing coming out of goalkeepers, but countless mistakes this season have lowered his status, hence why he’s on his way out.
A lot of factors have contributed to this, but pressure is certainly the main element, as a player of his age is yet to reach his goalkeeping prime.
Eddie Gray still thinks Meslier will shine, suggesting that by 28 or 29, he will be playing for France.
Looking at Tornqvist, 23, the 49ers run the same risk by signing a new goalkeeper, and it might be smart to accompany the Swede with some experienced competition, potentially in the form of target Nick Pope.
