Nottingham Forest are keen on not one but two wingers from Juventus, with the Reds credited with an interest in both Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula.
That’s according to Italian journalist Gianluca DiMarzio, who says talks between Forest and Juve are ‘in full swing’ on what would be an eye-catching double swoop for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
The report says Forest are ‘waiting to find out the players’ will’, particularly that of American international Weah – and are also working with the Serie A outfit to ‘find an economic agreement’.
He claims Weah would cost €14million and Mbangula €8m.
Both are currently in the United States playing for Juve in the Club World Cup, although Weah played just 45 minutes in the 5-0 win against Al-Ain and neither he nor Mbangula got off the bench versus Morocco’s Wydad AC.
Versatile Weah, who can play on either flank and as a winger, wing back or full back has been in Turin for the last two seasons, following a move from Lille for €11m.
In all he has made 78 appearances and scored seven goals and provided seven assists. Last season he player 43 games in all competitions, scoring six times.
The 25-year-old New Yorker was a regular in Juve’s Champions League and Serie A campaigns.

Mbangula is slightly further back in his career, at just 21-years-old this was his first season in senior football and he has scored four and provided five assists in 32 matches.
He has been called up to full Belgian squad but is yet to make his international debut. He has operated primarily as a left-winger.
The links comes with speculation circling around Forest’s first choice wide men, Anthony Elanga, who has been extensively linked with Newcastle United – and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The former Chelsea trainee has been connected with Manchester United among others.
Lingering in the background is the fact that neither of their back-ups, Jota Silva nor Ramon Sosa have really put that much pressure on Nuno’s first-stringers and there has been talk that either could exit the City Ground this summer.
