Wolves will be wary of Manchester United’s transfer dealings once more this summer after the sale of Matheus Cunha.
Cunha was sold to Man United once his £62.5m release clause was activated, ending a tedious transfer saga.
The Brazilian’s exit was a long time coming, and despite United not securing European football, the 26-year-old’s mind was already made up.
Upon signing for the Red Devils, Cunha revealed his dream to play for United and now, those at Old Trafford could play a role in another key Wolves sale.

Besiktas are considering Marcus Rashford as well as Goncalo Guedes
Vitor Pereira didn’t want to sell players this summer, but such has been impossible to uphold as Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri moved on early in the window.
The star duo aren’t the only exits that are anticipated as Wolves could have a mass clear-out of players that aren’t in Pereira’s plans.
One of them is Goncalo Guedes who, after three underwhelming years on Wolves’ books, is likely to secure a transfer this summer.
Pereira admitted that Guedes wants to leave, and despite his struggles over the 2024/25 campaign, there are plenty of suitors.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
There’s interest in Turkey, as Besiktas want to sign Guedes, which is where Manchester United come into the fold.
Turkish outlet Haber noted that the Wolves forward isn’t the only wide player that the Eagles are considering, as Marcus Rashford is also ‘on the agenda’.
With the two positional rivals on Besiktas’ radar, a move for Rashford could push Wolves away from securing a possible deal for Guedes’ exit.
Such would be a blow for the Old Gold, who will surely be desperate to cut ties with the 28-year-old, who is now Wolves’ highest-earning player following the exits of Pablo Sarabia and Cunha, as per Capology.
The West Midlands club will be watching Man United closely once more, as the Red Devils could have a say in another Wolves sale.

Offloading Guedes is essential for Wolves
In order for Pereira to truly take Wolves to the next level, those who don’t want to be a part of the project must be omitted.
Not only is Guedes’ attitude notoriously poor, but his presence in the squad has a significant impact on the Old Gold’s wage structure.
Parting ways with the Portuguese forward is a must this summer, and right now, it appears that Besiktas are the most likely avenue.
Much of the Eagles’ interest could hang on whether they are able to strike a deal for Rashford, as Wolves and United’s paths cross on the transfer front once more.
