Porto are willing to sell Man United transfer target Diogo Costa for €60m (£51.1m) this summer, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
The goalkeeper has €75m (£63.9m) release clause in his contract, but newspaper A BOLA claim that Porto president Andre Villas-Boas has acknowledged that no club will pay that fee.
It means that Man United can now sign Costa for a much lower amount than originally expected, although many will feel it is still a pretty steep price for a keeper.

A BOLA report that both the Red Devils and rivals Manchester City are keeping close tabs on the Portuguese international’s situation as they look to sign new No.1s.
What is the latest on Onana’s future at United?
Any move for Costa or another goalkeeper is very much dependent on whether United find a buyer for Andre Onana.
At the moment, Ruben Amorim’s side are not actively looking to sell the Cameroon international. Reports suggest that he has even been helping the club to get a deal for Bryan Mbeumo over the line.
However, many do believe that an upgrade on Onana is required, and if a formal bid is received, you would think that the club would be open to letting him go.
Costa is keen on moving to England
ABOLA have also revealed that the Portugal number one has a “strong desire” to leave Porto in order to further his career and his preference would be to join a Premier League team.
Of course, that is not only good news for Man United but also City. Pep Guardiola’s side are likely to offload Ederson before the end of the summer and there is a danger that they could beat United to the signature of Costa.
