Winners from a Michael Keane transfer to Wrexham
Max Cleworth
Max Cleworth was praised by his teammates after landing the club’s young player of the year award once again.
Cleworth is now ready to make the step up to the second tier and will likely be a regular for Parkinson on the right hand side of a back three.
Having an experienced international like Keane at the centre of the defence will enable Cleworth to express himself on the ball more knowing that he has adequate cover behind him.
MORE WREXHAM STORIES
There are many who believe Cleworth has the ability to play Premier League football one day and picking the brains of a player such as Keane can only be beneficial to the youngster.
Arthur Okonkwo
Arthur Okonkwo is prepared for the Championship and has changed his training regime in order to be in the best possible shape for the start of the season.
Having impressed during the League One campaign with 19 clean sheets, Okonkwo will be hoping to further enhance his reputation and Keane would provide solidity in front of him.
Having been capped 12 times for England, Keane would be an outstanding addition to the Red Dragons defence and make Okonkwo’s life just that little bit easier next campaign.

Matty James
Parkinson is a huge fan of Matty James and the 33-year-old midfielder will be hoping to showcase his talents once again for Wrexham next season.
Midfield is an area the club want to strengthen but James’s experience and composure will still be a key part of the manager’s plans.
With Keane playing behind him, Wrexham could form a fruitful partnership between the duo that can guide Wrexham through tough spells in matches and get the results they need in the division.

Eoghan O’Connell
Ryan Reynolds loves Eoghan O’Connell and the Irish defender was outstanding for the Red Dragons during the promotion run-in last campaign.
O’Connell was a rock at the heart of the defence and led his side to countless clean sheets on the way to claiming second place.
However, Keane’s arrival would surely push O’Connell down the pecking order in Parkinson’s eyes and with Dan Scarr’s impressive form during the final games, the former Celtic defender could find opportunities limited.

Craig Dawson
Craig Dawson has been offered a deal to join the Red Dragons but may see potential interest in Keane as a sign that the club are changing their stance on their preferred target.
It is clear that Parkinson wants an experienced Premier League defender to mentor the likes of Cleworth and Lewis Brunt next season but Keane may be about to push ahead of Dawson.
Birmingham also want Dawson so reports of interest in Keane may be an indication that the former Wolves man won’t be arriving in North Wales.
