Welcome to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...
Robert Sanchez
Graham Potter is reportedly keen on reuniting with the player he previously coached at Brighton.
Chelsea, unimpressed with the 27-year-old’s performances are thought to be open to selling Sanchez as they aim to raise funds to pursue AC Milan’s Mike Maignan. The move would also offer Sanchez more regular playing time, which is uncertain at Chelsea. No fee is yet on the table but his current estimated value is set at €20million.

Yunus Musah
West Ham United and AC Milan are reported to be in talks over the transfer of Yunus Musah, the 22-year-old centre midfielder whose future now appears to be heading toward the Premier League for a figure of around €25million. Musah enjoyed a promising start at Milan, but may leave as the club seeks to restructure its midfield.
West Ham entered the race following complications in Musah’s proposed move to Napoli, which stalled due to Milan raising their asking price. While West Ham are claimed to have begun exploratory talks, the hope is Milan might lower their demands. However Napoli could also re-enter negotiations if that happens, as Musah is said to be interested in working with coach Antonio Conte. Key developments are expected in the coming week.

Jonathan David
25-year-old Canadian striker Jonathan David is still without a new club despite strong interest from several major European teams, while West Ham's interest is long-running and well known. After confirming his departure from Lille at the end of the 2024/25 season David, who scored 109 goals in 232 games for the Ligue 1club, is said to be aiming to join a Champions League team.
However, several clubs have withdrawn from the race, including PSG, Manchester United, Barcelona, Napoli, and Inter Milan. In addition to West Ham, Chelsea, Tottenham and Aston Villa - among others - have shown interest. Juventus, Fenerbahce, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad are also possible options for David, who is seeking a €7 million-plus annual salary (currently €2.25 million), a €1 million signing bonus and a €12 million commission for his agents. These high demands have deterred several interested clubs.

Joao Palhinha
West Ham United are reported to be in talks with Bayern Munich about signing 29-year-old defensive midfielder João Palhinha, who is also attracting interest from former club Fulham and Benfica. After a challenging first season at Bayern, Palhinha’s agent is actively seeking a return to the Premier League. Despite his desire to succeed at Bayern, the midfielder is open to a move and plans to discuss his future with the club.
Signed for €51 million last summer, Bayern may sell him for a figure as low as €30/35 million as they focus on renewing Leon Goretzka’s contract.

Theo Hernandez
The Hammers are interested in signing left back Theo Hernandez say reports, with the 22-year-old expected to leave AC Milan this summer. Milan had previously failed to sell him to Como for €40 million, a deal Hernandez rejected.
Despite a tough season at the San Siro, the French defender's current value is estimated at €46.4million, although that may drop as the summer progresses. Hernandez, who is under contract until 2026, is also attracting interest from clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and PSG.
