Marcus Rashford has been dubbed "refreshing" by Amadou Onana.
The Manchester United striker found himself on loan at Aston Villa for the back end of the 2024/25 season after he lost his spot under manager Ruben Amorim. And in a conversation with The Inside Scoop, Onana lauded his short-term team-mate, who tallied four goals and six assists in 17 appearances for the Villains.
When asked to sum up his experience playing alongside Rashford, he said: "Refreshing. You know when someone touches the ball, you can tell they've been there, they've played at the highest level.
"If you remember the PSG [vs] United [game] back then, that Marcus Rashford. And with some of the things he does, you just know, 'Yeah, you've been there. You know what you're doing and you know what you're talking about.' Really, really cool guy. Humble guy.
"It's a pleasure to share the dressing room with people like that, you know? Cause he's a good guy, and an amazing player - and someone that I personally, in my young age, can learn a lot from."
Rashford's return to Old Trafford amidst uncertain prospects raises questions about his place at the club. Despite his successful stint away, it's doubtful he'll be part of Amorim's vision going forward as the Portuguese aims to rebuild the team he took over from Erik ten Hag.
United have already secured the £62.5million signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and are attempting to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. The Red Devils' initial offer of up to £55m for the 25-year-old winger was rejected, but it's reported that they've now put forward an increased bid of over £60m in hopes of finalising the deal.

In addition, United have been linked with numerous strikers this summer, including Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen, Beto and Christopher Nkunku. As for Rashford, the star seems to be in a state of uncertainty with three years remaining on his contract.
Villa seem unlikely to meet United's asking price of £40m for a permanent transfer. Meanwhile, Rashford himself may have reservations about playing for a team that won't be competing in the Champions League in 2025/26, especially as he aims to regain his place in the England squad under Thomas Tuchel.

The forward was reportedly holding out for a move to Barcelona this summer, but with the La Liga giants nearing a deal for Athletic Club's Nico Williams and Copenhagen's Roony Bardghji, Rashford's chances of securing a move to his dream destination are dwindling by the day.
Newcastle United are reportedly keen on securing a loan deal for Rashford at St. James' Park for the 2025/26 season. However, as United would rather arrange a permanent departure for Rashford, it remains uncertain whether they would agree to a temporary move to the Magpies.
