Felgueiras midfielder Vasco Moreira has admitted that he would love to play for Manchester United in future, or at least against them at Old Trafford.

He’s been with Felgueiras since joining them on a free transfer from Braga B in July last year. He had started his career in Porto’s youth system before moving to Rio Ave and then Braga.
He was a regular for his new side this season, with 34 appearances in all competition in Liga Portugal 2 as Felgueiras finished ninth in the table.
This season was his first experience of proper, first-team football and a potential stepping stone to bigger and better things in future.
Moreira certainly isn’t taking that for granted at this moment in time as he looks to finally establish himself and get his career on track in Portugal’s second division. That doesn’t stop him having ambitions, though, and one of those potentially includes Manchester United, who he name-checked when asked about bigger sides he fancies playing for.
_“I’d like to face the best teams,”_ he said.
_“But I like the Spanish championship, if you play there I would like to play against the best. Or Manchester United, I like to step and feel the energy of Old Trafford, it is a stage that has a certain something._
_“I have some teams that I would like to belong to, but I think that depends on me, I like to think more about the championships and then work, and only then you see where you go._
_“Jumping from Portugal to a big club in Europe would be difficult, but I do not put restrictions. At this moment I am contractually connected to Felgueiras and will stop there. But in football things change fast. I have that goal, I want to put myself to the test at a high level. I don’t know if it will be next, or in four years, I will not rest until I hit it.”_
