An insight into the plans of Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick to utilise the talents of long-time transfer target Nico Williams in his XI has this week been provided.
And the news will no doubt be of an exciting nature for those of a Blaugrana persuasion.
Wide-man Nico is of course widely expected to seal a long-awaited move to the Camp Nou this summer.
Despite an ongoing push on the part of German heavyweights Bayern Munich, the 22-year-old has himself made clear that his only desire is to link up with close friend Lamine Yamal in Barcelona.
So much so that the two parties have already agreed on the terms of a contract for the seasons ahead.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Hansi Flick is evidently confident that a deal for Nico will ultimately be struck.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, the German is already planning for next season with the Spanish international in mind:
‘The German coach sees Nico as an ideal fit for his system and is also considering him in several attacking positions.’
