Reports: Weah closing in on Nottingham Forest transfer

Tim Weah may be on the move yet again.

Two years after joining Juventus from Lille, the U.S. men's national team forward is nearing a move to Nottingham Forest, per multiple reports.

ESPN reported that Forest has reached a €22 million deal with Juventus for both Weah and Samuel Mbangula, with the players still yet to agree personal terms with the Premier League side.

Football Italia added that Weah and Mbangula are both open to joining Nottingham Forest.

Forest is aiming to add some firepower up front after a surprise seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season, which was good enough to qualify for the UEFA Conference League.

Weah is coming off a season in which he scored a career-best six goals, adding five assists. After spending his first season in Italy playing as a wingback, the 25-year-old enjoyed a more productive campaign playing his more natural winger role.

But Weah was still unable to secure a regular starting role with the Bianconeri, beginning the match on 24 of his 43 total appearances in the 2024-25 campaign.

Weah is currently with Juventus at the FIFA Club World Cup, playing 45 minutes off the bench in the club's 5-0 win over Al Ain before he was an unused substitute in a 4-1 win over Wydad AC.

Juventus closes out the group stage on Thursday against Manchester City in Orlando.
