Andre Onana has told Manchester United he wants to stay and fight to prove he is still Ruben Amorim's No.1 goalkeeper.
Onana's future has been in doubt after Monaco enquired about signing the Cameroon international in a £40m deal.
United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is open to selling Onana and using the funds to sign Argentina and Aston Villa keeper Emi Martinez.
But Onana has made it clear he wants to stay put at United and fight to keep his first-choice status, despite two erratic seasons between the posts.
And Onana is determined to be on the plane when the United squad flies to America next month for the club's pre-season tour.

Onana joined United from Inter Milan for £47.2m in 2023, but has struggled to win over critics following some high-profile blunders.
Onana is currently on holiday but gave a cryptic reply when asked if he could leave United this summer when he said: “Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see.”
Onana, 29, also has interest from Saudi clubs as well as Monaco, but still has the desire to remain at Old Trafford.
