Alejandro Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho
If Aston Villa wished to pursue a deal for Alejandro Garnacho this summer, then they'll have to fork out as much as £70m, according to reports. Winger Garnacho has been informed by Manchester United that he can find a new club this summer as a part of manager Ruben Amorim's overhaul.
Like Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, United will listen to offers for Garnacho in the window as they eye Amorim's own targets; having already recruited Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, they're also after Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford.
Villa have been linked with Garnacho, , following the England international's exploits while on loan this past season. That fuelled speculation that he was angling for a move to Villa Park.
Chelsea might be another possible destination for the Argentine; they're looking to offload Christopher Nkunku and freshen up their wing department, and could negotiate two separate deals with United which sees both players move in the opposite direction.
United will demand up to £70m for the 20-year-old, who still has three years left on his Old Trafford contract, and they have 'communicated' that to the relevant suitors. Bayer Leverkusen, who are now managed by Garnacho's former boss Erik ten Hag, are another side keen but not willing to fund a move at that price.
