He's the best sharpshooter in the history of American basketball - and down in Kerry yesterday, NBA legend Steph Curry proved he's just as good at sinking shots off the court.
The superstar and Golden State Warriors point guard was spotted on a family holiday at the county's well-known Waterville Golf Links on Monday afternoon. Steph was joined by two fellow NBA stars - his brother Seth and brother-in-law Damion Lee - as well his father, former player turned commentator Dell Curry.
The group - who have a combined net worth of hundreds of millions - were seen enjoying takeaway coffees from the clubhouse, and made sure to grab pics with star-struck staff before they teed off.
The NBA legend's trip comes during Ireland's peak 'Golf Season' - during which celeb spotting is at an all-time high as wealthy stars fly from all over to enjoy the country's many scenic courses. One of the most famous sightings happened in 2022, when Hollywood actor and Anchorman lead Will Ferrell was seen playing a few rounds at the Old Head golf club in Kinsale.
Of yesterday's group, Steph carried the most 'star power' by far - being widely accepted as the best three-point shooter in NBA history. He started with the Golden State Warriors in 2009, and since then has become a four-time NBA Champion, been selected for eleven NBA All-Star games and racked up a net worth of around $250m.
The Waterville Golf Links club shared snaps of the encounter with NBA royalty yesterday, saying: "A very warm welcome to NBA legends Steph Curry, Seth Curry, their father Dell Curry, and fellow NBA star Damion Lee to Waterville Golf Links. It was an honour to host such incredible talent from the basketball world - we hope you enjoyed your day on the links!"
Believe it or not, Steph is the third major American celeb spotted in Munster in just the past few days. Last week, CorkBeo reported on two high-profile sightings - including a Brooklyn Nine-Nine star and legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk.
