Liverpool and Napoli are in talks over a deal for striker Darwin Nunez after he accepted a move to the Serie A side, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds were crowned Premier League champions under Arne Slot's leadership and are now looking to help him strengthen the squad in his own image, with a busy transfer window expected.
Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have already seen their arrivals confirmed while Milos Kerekz will complete a move to Anfield imminently, and now the club have turned their attentions to starting to sell players who don't have a future in the side.

Nunez, who has been described as 'world-class' and currently earns £140,000-a-week at Anfield, struggled to find a regular place in Slot's team during their title-winning campaign, making just eight starts in the Premier League all season.
As a result, Liverpool are expected to allow the 26-year-old to leave the club permanently this summer and it's Serie A champions Napoli who are showing the most concrete interest as things stand.
According to Romano, the two clubs are in direct talks on Tuesday to discuss the conditions of a deal and while negotiations are still at an early stage, the Uruguay international has already said yes to a move to Naples.
It's currently unclear how much Liverpool are demanding for the number nine, but an exit is almost guaranteed this summer one way or another.
The Reds are looking at bringing in a new striker of their own to replace him, with Newcastle star Alexander Isak seen as the 'dream' target but considered unrealistic currently, while Hugo Ekitike is another option, but sales are needed before any more moves can progress.
