Manchester United face old rivals Leeds United in their first pre-season friendly of the summer on July 19.
Ruben Amorim’s side embarked on a post-season tour of Asia after finishing 15th in the Premier League last term, but the Red Devils don’t benefit from much of a break as they return to prepare for next season midway through July.
The Portuguese will be desperate to see his side improve next season after such a disappointing campaign last term, and United have already added forward Matheus Cunha to Amorim’s squad.
Now, it appears that one member of the Red Devils’ squad is open to the idea of leaving Old Trafford.
According to CaughtOffside, forward Rasmus Hojlund is intrigued by the possibility of a move to Italian champions Napoli.
The Dane has emerged as a target for the Serie A giants, and it is claimed that the 22-year-old would be excited by the idea of working under Napoli boss Antonio Conte.

Playing alongside the likes of Romalu Lukaku and Kevin de Bruyne would also appeal to the Denmark international, the report claims.
Hojlund joined United from Italian side Atalanta in 2023 but has since endured a disappointing spell in Manchester.
In total he has scored just 26 goals in 95 games for the club across all competitions, netting just four times in the Premier League last term.
Fellow Serie A sides Juventus and Inter Milan could also attempt to land the striker, the report claims, while Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are also credited with an interest in the player.
United are set to demand a fee of around £38 million for the striker, who is under contract until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
