Sporting Stance : Viktor Gyokeres
Sporting CP after winning back to back Portuguese League titles will now be open to let Gyokeres leave this transfer window. They had Signed a release clause for Gyokeres which is around €100 million including add ons. However, last year Sporting CP and Viktor Gyokeres had a Verbal Gentleman’s Agreement. According to the agreement, Gyokeres would stay at Sporting for one more year and leave next year for around €70 million including add ons. This would be below the release clause. But now situation has changed. Sporting want more than €70 million.
Viktor Gyokeres now feels betrayed by the club. He thinks that Sporting are violating the Gentleman’s Agreement between them. He will be leaving Sporting this summer but at what release clause will be a question to see.

After a brilliant season at sporting, Viktor Gyokeres is open to a move to a big club. His preferred destination is a premier league club who is also in the champions league. Although saudi clubs are interested in him, he wants to stay and compete in Europe at this stage. He feels this move is a big step in his career. He is currently in his prime and it’s the best time to prove himself at a big stage. For this, A premier league club would help him get attention and appreciation for his talent. A Deal for Viktor Gyokeres is going to happen this summer transfer window. Although there are some concerns between Viktor and Sporting. They will be sorted soon so that the player can move. Sporting should value the Gentleman’s agreement they had done with the player. After his outstanding service and love towards the club, the situation is likely to get sorted soon.
