Arsenal have reportedly held exploratory talks with West Ham United over the potential capture of Mohammed Kudus this summer - with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta keen to bolster his ranks ahead of the summer months to finally land the Premier League title by adding the class of the Hammers star.
Arsenal are in the market for a new wide player, with Nico Williams and Leroy Sane both having been linked in recent weeks - though Kudus could be their alternative with news that they have opened talks to land his signature.

The report by The Sun states that Kudus has signed a deal with a new agency, increasing speculation over a potential move away from West Ham - and with that in mind, it's a clear indication of a departure this summer.

His future could be decided as early as next month, with the Ghanaian having a ten-day release clause that becomes active on July 1, and finishes on July 10. The Sun's sources suggest that in that short window, Premier League clubs can activate Kudus' release clause for £85million.
Kudus won't push for a move, but he is open to new opportunities - and Arsenal are thought to have held exploratory talks with a view to bringing the midfield star to the Emirates Stadium as much-needed competition for Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, with the Gunners likely to be competing on four competition fronts next season. Nico Williams and Rodrygo have also been sought-after, but Kudus could provide an easy alternative.
'World-class' Kudus joined West Ham two years ago from Ajax, and massively impressed in his first season at the club with some impressive performances and wonder goals as they finished ninth, but his influence decreased massively last season and a new switch may be sought-after.
West Ham are aware that only a handful of teams can afford his release clause, though it remains to be seen whether they can negotiate a deal to satisfy themselves and the buying club.
Arsenal are set to spend £51million on Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi, though director Andrea Berta could be willing to splash up to £300million on a new-look team to finally turn their fortunes around in the summer and win silverware next season.
