Sources claim player ‘ready to pack bags’ over Leeds United move – £8.5M could be enough to…

Leeds United have been quick to sort out two transfer deals in the space of a week. Fans had been frustrated that there had been no business since the window opened.

The club was making space in the squad, as some first team stars were put up for sale. The likes of Illan Meslier and Max Wober could depart Elland Road in the coming weeks. Daniel Farke has been quick to address the attack with the signing of Lukas Nmecha. The team badly needed some depth in that area. And it seems like Wober’s departure could be anytime soon with the arrival of Jaka Bijol.

Strasbourg’s Habib Diarra was the main target, but talks have slowed down in the last couple of days. Reims have also made it known that midfielder Valentin Atangana is available for sale.

The Whites could also revive their interest in Union Saint-Gilloise star Noah Sadiki. Belgian outlet outlet FootNews have reported that ‘several departures expected’ at Union this summer. Sadiki has been named as one of those players likely to move on. Walfoot are also reporting that there could be an exodus at the Belgian club this summer, and that Sadiki and two other teammates ‘appear ready to pack their bags’.

Sadiki could reportedly be available for just £8.5million this summer.

Sadiki would be a very good complimentary piece

Noah Sadiki is a menace between both boxes. He can hold his own defensively; and covers a lot of the pitch with his dynamism. When he wins the ball, he is also able to bring the ball up into dangerous areas. The midfielder won possession in the final third 23 times, which ranks him in the 98th percentile in the Belgian Pro League.

Sadiki was a huge presence in the middle of the park for Union Saint-Gilloise. If he does join Leeds United, he could be the perfect compliment to the current crop of midfielders. The 20-year old would flourish alongside the likes of Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu.
