Everton’s summer search to sign a new striker has certainly been complex.
It is a position that clubs across Europe are looking for upgrades in front of goal, and Everton are certainly one of those sides.
Everton are prioritising a new striker this summer as they have suffered from injuries and a lack of consistent form over recent seasons.
Ahead of pre-season, David Moyes has been taking in games at the Club World Cup, having based himself in Miami.
The Toffees are yet to bring in any new faces over the summer, but there is a lot of work going in behind the scenes to secure a signing.
Everton have already lost out on Liam Delap to Chelsea this month, and another of their striker targets has just been urged to move elsewhere.

Nick Woltemade urged to join Bayern Munich over Everton
Moyes is open to signing two strikers this summer, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja set to depart the club.
Among a number of names, VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade is being eyed by Everton as an option for the summer.

However, Bayern Munich player Aleksandar Pavlovic has now urged his international teammate to join him at the Allianz Arena.

The Germany U21 striker is in high demand this summer, with Chelsea also keen to sign Woltemade despite already landing Delap.
A transfer battle could certainly develop for Woltemade, who is currently showcasing his talent at the U21 Euros.
Woltemade is valued at £33m and has impressed massively in the Bundesliga already, having earned a senior call-up to the Germany squad.

With his future up in the air, Woltemade is currently stalling on a new contract with Stuttgart as clubs across Europe show an interest.
There are other options believed to be on Everton’s radar, though.
Thierno Barry has approved a move to Everton from Villarreal as the Toffees eye their first striker signing of the summer.
As Everton eye moves for some of Europe’s top young attackers, it will be interesting to see whether Moyes is also keen to sign an experienced head.
