Man United are looking to offload Jadon Sancho this summer after he returned from Chelsea.
The future of Jadon Sancho remains very uncertain after his return from Chelsea after a season-long loan earlier in June. The Blues opted against the obligation to buy for £25m as Sancho’s personal terms couldn’t be agreed for a move to Stamford Bridge.
Following his return to Old Trafford, the only thing that is certain about the winger’s future is that he won’t be at Manchester United come the end of the transfer window, but where he will be remains to be seen.
Juventus consider Sancho swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic
There are two clubs in Italy that have been linked to Sancho in recent days, one of them being Napoli, and the others being Juventus, who are looking to get back to the top of the Serie A moving forward.
Vlahovic fell out of favour at Juventus and is now looking to move on this summer following a strong goal-scoring season for the Serbian. He made 43 appearances last season for Juventus, netting 16 goals and providing five assists for Igor Tudor’s side. Sancho is reportedly open to a move to Juventus; however, it is not understood yet whether Vlahovic would be willing to come to Old Trafford.
The report says that initial contact has been made between Man United and Juventus’ intermediaries, and that it could be stepped up should a Vlahovic and Sancho swap become more likely. The Italian side has reportedly priced Vlahovic at around £60m, but seeing as they want to offload him, they are likely to accept lower offers, such as a swap for Sancho.
Juventus line up former Aston Villa star as Vlahovic alternative
The report doesn’t stop at Vlahovic either, as it also claims that if Vlahovic isn’t willing to move to Man United, or the Red Devils don’t want to sign him, then Juventus would consider offering midfielder Douglas Luiz instead.
Luiz has Premier League experience, playing for Aston Villa between 2019 and 2024. He made over 200 appearances for Villa, scoring 22 goals and providing 24 assists. He moved to Juventus last summer for a fee of £44m, but has only made 27 appearances in all competitions since.
The 27-year-old would be a useful addition for Man United, as they want to add a defensive midfielder to help replace Christian Eriksen, who left the club as a free agent following his expired contract.
