Celtics Rumors: ‘Next Order Of Business’ After Jrue Holiday Trade

Trading Jrue Holiday was the first of many moves for Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics, NBA insiders believe.

So, what’s next?

“The next order of business in Boston is trading Kristaps Porzingis,” Clutch Points’ Brett Siegel wrote Tuesday morning, citing sources. “As he enters the final year of his contract, Porzingis has drawn interest from several teams in both conferences.”

Similar to Holiday before the veteran guard was dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers, Porzingis has been a topic of conversation all offseason. It’s been speculated the Celtics could trade the veteran big man, who played just 42 regular-season games during the 2024-25 campaign.

The 29-year-old Porzingis is entering the final year under contract, set to earn $30 million next season.
