An out-of-favour member of the midfield ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has made his wau onto the summer transfer wishlist of Portuguese giants Benfica.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barcelona-pablo-torre-orbita-benfica-118984299)**, citing Record, who point towards Pablo Torre as the player in question.
Torre, for his part, is fresh off a largely frustrating campaign with Barcelona in 2024/25.
Despite impressing when afforded the opportunity, the major competition for places in the attacking midfield role in Hansi Flick’s XI saw the 22-year-old restricted to just five starts across all competitions.
A summer exit for Torre, in turn, has long been rumoured in the media.
And as alluded to above, this week, a new suitor have been credited with an interest in the Spaniard’s signature.
As per a report from Sport:
‘Reports from some Portuguese media, in which ‘Record’ stands out, highlight the intention of Benfica to get the services of the 22-year-old Barça midfielder.’
It now remains to be seen if Benfica are willing to meet the financial demands of their counterparts at the Camp Nou.
