Manchester United are in advanced talks to sell Casemiro to Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr, according to reports.
The Red Devils are expected to have a busy summer transfer window with Ruben Amorim looking to shape the squad in his image, but the club are expected to have to make sales after missing out on European football entirely while also finishing 15th in the Premier League in the 2024/25 season.
Brazil international Casemiro was expected to leave the club in January after failing to make an impact after Amorim's arrival and the manager admitting the midfielder didn't have the physical capacity to carry out his demands, but things changed in the latter half of the season.

Casemiro, who has been described as "world-class", became a regular in Amorim's team towards the latter stages of the campaign, and the former Real Madrid man started in the Europa League final against Tottenham.
But with the club losing that game and facing financial issues this summer as they look to strengthen, a sale is expected to be on the cards, with his £350,000-a-week wages causing problems when combined with his age and role in the squad.
Reports have suggested for the last 12 months that there has been interest from Saudi Arabia in taking the five-time Champions League winner to the Middle East, and it now appears that they are close to sealing a deal to finally do that.
"Al Nassr club is close to signing the Brazilian player Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder, during the upcoming summer transfer period, and sources indicate that negotiations are at an advanced stage."
There is no mention of a transfer fee for the deal, it's stated that a deal is 'close' and negotiations are at an 'advanced stage', which would see Man Utd free up plenty of money from his wages to put towards new signings.
United have already been able to bring in his international teammate Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5m deal, while an improved offer worth in excess of £60m has been made for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo too as United prioritise strengthening their attack
A midfield signing is also being targeted, however, and it could be that a move accelerates once Casemiro leaves the club.
