The Buffalo Bills’ 2025 season might be the most critical year in the history of the franchise, with the team trying to reach the Super Bowl after five straight seasons of heartbreak.

The Bills have been the best team in the NFL over the last five years not to reach the Super Bowl, and the team will try to do everything possible to get there this year.

While the Bills have all their eyes on the 2025 season, it’s never too early to look toward how the team can improve in 2026.

Bills Projected To Draft Jordyn Tyson

Sayre Bedinger from NFL Spin Zone published a new 2026 NFL Mock Draft and has the Bills drafting Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson.

“The Buffalo Bills have invested in the wide receiver position, but the 2025 season will tell us if they’ve invested enough,” Bedinger wrote. “They re-signed Khalil Shakir to a big-money deal, and he’s proven to be one of the best in the league after the catch. They obviously feel like Keon Coleman can continue to develop. It will be fascinating to see if the Bills can hit on someone like free agent receiver Josh Palmer or one of the other guys they’ve brought in as a dart throw. If not, they can afford to throw a 1st-round pick at receiver. Jordan Tyson was outstanding for ASU after transferring away from Colorado. Key X-factor this season: The defensive front staying healthy is crucial. The Bills added a bunch of risky players on the defensive line and need them to all be ready to go for January.”

The Bills will have a handful of positions to choose from in next year’s draft, and adding a receiver might be the best option.

Right now, Buffalo has a handful of solid receivers: Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, and Elijah Moore. Still, none of them are like Stefon Diggs was from 2020 to 2023, when he was one of the best receivers in the NFL.

It would make Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s life easier if he had a great No. 1 receiver like he did with Diggs, and Tyson could be that guy.

Jordyn Tyson’s Scouting Report

According toIan Cummings from Pro Football Network, Tyson is the No. 2 receiver in the 2026 mock draft and has high praise for the Arizona State receiver.

“On PFSN’s early Big Board, Jordyn Tyson is one of just two 2026 WR prospects in the first-round range. There’s potential for that number to increase, but after a 2024 campaign that saw Tyson amass 1,101 yards and 10 TDs on 75 catches, he’s a frontrunner for Round 1 capital.A lean and smooth accelerator with legitimate stacking vertical speed, Tyson brings a dynamic element that’ll be sure to enrapture NFL evaluators,” Cummings wrote. “On top of his vertical speed, he has high-end tracking ability and body control, making plays such as the one below possible. Tyson is big enough to present a size challenge for most cornerbacks, but also fast enough to stress defenses vertically. He flashes the requisite quickness and bend to stem and sear into open spaces, too. Bringing shades of Rashod Bateman, he’ll assuredly be in the early-round mix.”

It will be interesting to see how the Bills’ season goes this year and if Buffalo decides to target a receiver in 2026.
