FC Copenhagen sporting director Sune Smith-Nielsen has confirmed Barcelona are set to sign Roony Bardghji.
The Catalans have agreed a deal for the winger to join in a deal worth around €2 million plus add ons.
Smith-Nielsen has now been asked about the situation and says he expects a deal to go through.
“There are advanced talks with Barcelona to sign Ronny Bardaghi,” Smith-Nielsen said in a statement to 365scores Arabic.
“We have a very attractive offer from Barcelona to sign Bardaghi. We are currently in talks with Roony and his representatives to finalize all agreements.
“We hope the player will soon undergo a medical with Barcelona, after which the agreement will be formalized.”
Bardghji looks set to follow Joan Garcia in making the switch to Barcelona this summer, with Nico Williams also expected to arrive from Athletic Club.
