ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - NBA star Kristaps Porzingis is headed to the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team deal, according to ESPN.
The Boston Celtics are sending Porzingis and a second-round pick in this year’s NBA draft to Atlanta as part of the deal, ESPN reporter Shams Charania said. According to ESPN, the Hawks will send guard Terrance Mann and the No. 22 overall pick to the Brooklyn Nets and Georges Niang and a second-round pick to the Celtics.

Porzingis, a forward and center, was a key part of last year’s championship-winning Celtics squad. The 29-year-old has a long injury history but has a massive impact on the court. He averaged 19.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game over two seasons with the Celtics.
