When Benjamin Nygren will sign for Celtic

Journalist Roger Hannah has told Celtic fans that Benjamin Nygren is likely to be unveiled as a new signing after July 1.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Nygren is said to have agreed a four-year deal to sign for the Hoops for a bargain transfer fee of £1.28m from FC Nordsjælland.

Hannah told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard: “My understanding is everything’s more or less done. He’s coming in on a four year contract and it will be announced possibly after the 1st of July.”

The plan for Celtic-linked starlet Veljko Milosavljevic

Red Star Belgrade are planning for next season with youngster Veljko Milosavljevic as their third choice centre-back.

Milosavljevic is valued at £9m and Celtic are reportedly keeping tabs on him. However, Champions League winners PSG and Premier League champions are also circling.

The 17-year-old played 17 games last season for Red Star Belgrade, but the Serbian giants have just signed two new central defenders.

They will be in front of Milosavljevic in the pecking order, however the wonderkid will be called upon when required.

Why Michel-Ange Balikwisha to Celtic has ‘slowed down’

Celtic are in advanced talks with Royal Antwerp for winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha, but progress is said to have slowed down recently.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri wrote on X: “Celtic FC has not forgotten Michel-Ange Balikwisha.

‘Several internal factors on the part of the Scottish club’s management have slowed down the deal, but both the Green and Whites and the player are keen to see it go through.

“Royal Antwerp FC is asking for €6 million (£5.1m) to reach an agreement.”

RB Leipzig and Newcastle United chase Nicolas Kuhn

Carabao Cup winners Newcastle United are reportedly still tracking Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn.

That’s according to The Scottish Sun, with the Premier League club considering launching a transfer bid for the 25-year-old German.

As it stands though, Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are favourites to land Kuhn for what appears to be £15m.

Genk reject £9m bid from Feyenoord for Oh

Former Celtic striker Oh has been the subject of a failed £9m transfer bid from Feyenoord.

Oh signed for Belgian side Genk last summer for £4.5m after Adam Idah was signed permanently by Celtic, reducing the South Korean’s chances of regular football further.

Oh was mainly used as a substitute for Genk last season, but he did manage to score nine goals across the season.

Feyenoord want to sign Oh, but Genk are keen to keep him for the upcoming season.
