Millwall are set to see one first team star leave but have agreed a new deal with a defender.
Charlton Athletic are competing with Premier League outfit Leeds United for the signing of Mjällby goalkeeper Noel Törnqvist this summer, as well as clubs across the continent.
Nathan Jones used both Will Mannion and Ashley Maynard-Brewer last season but appears keen to add another shot-stopper to the ranks at The Valley. There have been links with 17-year-old Australian goalkeeper Sonny Inzalaco, although any investment in him would likely be for the future.
West Ham veteran Lukasz Fabianski is also said to have been offered to the Addicks. The former Arsenal man will leave the London Stadium as a free agent this summer and is keen to stay in the capital.

Another option is Törnqvist. The 23-year-old has impressed in the Swedish Allsvenskan and has attracted attention from several suitors, according to Football Italia. Those include Charlton Athletic and Leeds United.
Parma, Empoli and Cremonese are also linked for the shot-stopper, who is said to be valued around €2 million. Törnqvist kept four clean sheets in 13 league appearances so far this season.
Elsewhere in the Championship, Millwall are set to see George Honeyman join League One side Blackpool on a free transfer and bring an end to his three years at The Den. Millwall had confirmed in May that they remained in talks with the player over a potential extension but it does not appear that an agreement has been reached.
Football Insider reports that the switch to Blackpool is nearing completion. Honeyman made 45 appearances across all competitions last season and a total of 117 for the club. The former Sunderland and Hull City man has experience in the third tier with 77 League One outings, scoring 10 goals and picking up 17 assists.
Millwall agree new contract with defender
Millwall have had a contract breakthrough with defender Danny McNamara, who has put pen to paper on a one year extension at The Den. A club statement on Tuesday read: “Millwall Football Club is delighted to announce that Danny McNamara has signed a new contract at The Den.
“The 26-year-old right-back made 15 appearances in 2024/25 before his campaign was brought to a premature end through injury, but McNamara will now remain in SE16 for 2025/26.
“The Irishman has made 149 appearances in a Millwall shirt since his debut came in an Emirates FA Cup tie at Boreham Wood in January 2021. His two goals for the club came in the same game - a 4-1 win over Barnsley in April 2022.
“McNamara will return to Calmont Road alongside his team-mates - and continue his rehab - for day one of 2025/26 pre-season training on Thursday 26th June.”
