West Ham face a defining summer transfer window as they look to leave their recent struggles behind them.
The Hammers underwhelmed again last season, and Graham Potter was unable to amend the early damage done by Julen Lopetegui.
Potter’s side have been linked with several newly promoted players, including Sunderland duo Chris Rigg and Eliezer Mayenda.
Now, they are said to be keen on another player who has dropped down to the Championship in Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson.

West Ham and other Premier League clubs target Hutchinson
West Ham may lose players before they sign, with Mohammed Kudus strongly linked with a move out of East London.

Kudus has signed with a new agency amid transfer speculation, which could signal his exit from the London Stadium.
That move will likely trigger a flurry of transfer activity, with the Irons aiming to receive a substantial fee for his services.
Indeed, the Hammers are monitoring Hutchinson’s progress at Ipswich Town, with bigger clubs lurking for the 21-year-old, according to the Daily Mail (24 June).

West Ham are joined by Brentford and Fulham in tracking the attacking midfielder, while he is also a target for Everton.
The outlet states that German duo Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also monitoring Hutchinson.
Furthermore, the Ipswich man is said to be valued at £30million, which is the same price Chelsea paid for Liam Delap, and they could listen to the highest bidder.

Hutchinson would be solid addition for Graham Potter
Despite suffering relegation with the Tractor Boys, it seems that Hutchinson’s stock has not declined.
The 21-year-old has played in both Arsenal and Chelsea’s youth setups before signing for Ipswich in a club record deal of an initial £20million.
The attacking midfielder has represented Jamaica, but is now playing for England Under-21s at the UEFA European Championship.
Hutchinson is a versatile player and has mainly been utilised centrally, but can also play on either wing.
The midfielder is a creative talent in the final third and has dribbling capabilities that can cause defenders consistent problems.
Although he is now a Championship player, a move for Hutchinson would be smart business for the East Londoners.
