Arsenal are looking to strengthen their squad this summer as Mikel Arteta sets his sights on spearheading the Gunners towards Premier League glory.
The north London outfit have finished second for three consecutive seasons, and now Arteta has promised fans the prospect of a 'big' summer in the transfer market.
"It's going to be a big one and we are very excited about it," Arteta said. "The way we planned the five first summers, they were going to be very big and they were going to have different objectives because the turnaround of players and the objective of those windows was going to be different.
"But now when you are going to go again, we want to increase the depth of the squad but as well we want to increase the quality and the skills that we need to go to the next step."
While Arsenal are yet to welcome any new faces to their squad, they're eager to wrap up a number of deals in the next few weeks. Here, Daily Star Sport looks at the latest Arsenal transfer news.

On the hunt for a dazzling new winger this summer, Arsenal's chiefs have reportedly discussed names including Rodrygo, Anthony Gordon and Nico Williams, according to the Athletic.
Williams appears Barcelona-bound after reportedly agreeing on personal terms, whereas Gordon put pen to paper on a fresh, long-term deal with Newcastle last October. Consequently, the spotlight falls on Rodrygo, who is believed to be ready for a Real Madrid exit.
Madrid gaffer Xabi Alonso has expressed his keenness to keep Rodrygo at the club, affirming last month: "He's a Madrid player and I will have a conversation with everyone because we need to do so. We'll get to know each other. He's a spectacular player and we need him."

The Gunners have stamped a £17m valuation on Oleksandr Zinchenko, which Serie A giants AC Milan seem prepared to match.
With only five starts in the league last season, Zinchenko found himself down the pecking order behind Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori. Corriere dello Sport reports that Milan are eyeing Zinchenko as a potential replacement for Theo Hernandez.
As Hernandez looks likely to seal a move to Al-Hilal, Zinchenko seems open to the San Siro switch, assuming his salary demands can be met. Meanwhile, Club Brugge defender Maxim De Cuyper is also being considered as a Plan B.

Viktor Gyokeres has reportedly made his Arsenal ambitions crystal clear after holding talks with Sporting president Federico Varandas, per Record.
During a telephone exchange, Gyokeres threatened to never play for the club again, issuing a stark warning that he would 'never forgive' them if his move to Arsenal fell through.
However, Varandas has openly declared that he refuses to be pressured into selling the player for a low price. "Threats, blackmail and insults don't work with me. I can guarantee that Viktor Gyokeres will not leave for €60m+10m (£51m+£8.5m) because I never promised him that," Varandas stated.
