Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman is having a medical at Huddersfield Town today, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old has agreed to join the League One club on loan for next season.
Huddersfield have beaten a number of EFL clubs to Goodman’s signature after his impressive spell on loan at AFC Wimbledon last season.
The young-shot stopper achieved promotion to League One via the play-offs at Plough Lane and was a virtual ever-present between the sticks for the Dons.
Goodman eyeing back-to-back promotions
He will now be eyeing up back-to-back promotions on his CV with Huddersfield expected to make a challenge after missing out on the play-offs last term.
Goodman is already embarking on his third senior loan having also played at Colchester United in the 2023-24 campaign.

Last season, the highly-rated young goalkeeper was named in the League Two Team of the Season and won the division’s Golden Glove after racking up 21 third-tier clean sheets.
He made 53 appearances across all competitions for Wimbledon, conceding 39 goals and keeping 25 shut-outs.
Goodman will join Lee Nicholls and Jacob Chapman in the goalkeeping ranks at Huddersfield, who are managed by Lee Grant after his appointment last month.

‘Crystal Palace set sights on relegated star’
Meanwhile at Crystal Palace, Oliver Glasner’s side are reportedly considering a move to sign Southampton star Mateus Fernandes following the Saints’ relegation from the Premier League.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game.
Brown revealed Palace scouts have been tracking the 20-year-old’s progress, with Southampton valuing him at around £25million.
