Viktor Gyokeres has been told he should pursue a transfer to Arsenal over "unstable" Manchester United.
The Swede is set to leave Sporting Lisbon this summer after scoring 97 goals in 102 games over two seasons in Portugal. And Gyokeres is high on both United and Arsenal’s shopping list as both clubs look to land a new striker before the start of the new season.
Daily Star Sport has asked ChatGPT who Gyokeres should sign for this summer, and the response was incredibly conclusive.
“Viktor Gyokeres choosing Arsenal and Mikel Arteta over Manchester United is a smart move for his development and career trajectory. Under Arteta, Arsenal has built a cohesive, attack-minded system that plays to Gyokeres’ strengths—pressing, movement, and intelligent link-up play.
“Arteta has shown he can elevate players like Odegaard and Havertz, suggesting Gyokeres could thrive. In contrast, Manchester United lacks a clear tactical identity and stability, with Ruben Amorim’s future uncertain.

“Arsenal offers Champions League consistency, a young, hungry squad, and a clear long-term vision. For a striker seeking structure, growth, and silverware, Arsenal is the better fit.”
Gyokeres has threatened to take matters into his own hands to force through a move to the Emirates after he reportedly phoned Sporting’s president Frederico Varandas to demand a transfer.
According to Portuguese publication Record, Gyokeres told Varandas that he will refuse to return to training and play another match for the club, making it clear he wants a move to Arsenal this summer at all costs.
He is understood to have stated that he would "never forgive" Sporting's bosses if they blocked his potential transfer to Arsenal. Gyokeres recognises such an opportunity might not present itself again due to his age at 27, with his next move coming in the prime of his career.
It was previously reported that a gentleman’s agreement was reached between Gyokeres and Varandas to allow him to leave for an offer of £60million, but the Sporting boss has since made it clear the club won’t be pressured into selling their star man.

Arsenal are also chasing the signing of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, but the Slovenian’s price tag and personal demands are proving a stumbling block in a deal that is said to be frustrating Arsenal chiefs.
