Arsenal are eyeing new signings this summer after another frustrating campaign in the Premier League. They finished second for the third season in a row under Mikel Arteta.
Now, they are said to be keen to shake things up. Their number one priority remains to get a new striker. Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko are both on their wishlist this window. But, the Gunners are looking to strengthen in other areas too, including midfield, goalkeeper, and the wings.
As per Caught Offside, Arsenal have apparently made an enquiry regarding **Man Utd**‘s Jadon Sancho. Sancho was on loan at Chelsea for the majority of the 2024/25 season.
The England international is likely to leave Old Trafford this summer transfer window. New United manager Ruben Amorim has clearly stated that the winger won’t be in his plans for the future.
Fenerbahce Lead Race as Arsenal Yet to Follow Up
While Arsenal initially showed interest, they have not made any further moves yet. So, the winger now looks to make a move abroad. Turkish giants Fenerbahce have reportedly keeping tabs in him. They have made an official offer for the 24-year-old as well.
Reports claim that head coach Jose Mourinho is playing a key role in the deal. He has personally spoken to Sancho. In fact, Turkish sources suggest that the former Chelsea and Man Utd man has already agreed to personal terms. He has likely to accept a €10m per year salary offer.
Chelsea had the winger on loan last season. Although, they chose not to keep him permanently, even paying a £5m fee to skip the buy clause. Though Arsenal’s move came out of the blue. Now, it seems Sancho’s next chapter is more likely to be in Istanbul than North London. That is unless the Gunners make a serious move soon.
