Leeds United are pushing hard to seal the transfer of Habib Diarra.
The Senegalese midfielder has been a key target during this summer’s transfer window, with the Whites already struggling in negotiations with RC Strasbourg.
However, the 49ers Enterprises may be ready to go again to sign Diarra after confirming the arrivals of Jaka Bijol and Lukas Nmecha at Elland Road.

Leeds improve bid for Diarra
An initial offer of around £21million has supposedly already been rejected for Diarra.
However, Africafoot has now reported that Leeds have submitted a second bid worth an estimated £23.8m, as they continue to push for the midfielder.

A three-year contract is supposedly on the table for the 21-year-old if he is interested in leaving the French club for West Yorkshire this summer.
Diarra has four caps for Senegal and would likely leave Leeds in December to take part in the African Cup of Nations.
He showed his potential earlier in June when he starred in Senegal’s 3-1 victory against England at the City Ground in Nottingham.
Diarra ran the show against an England midfield featuring Declan Rice and Conor Gallagher, and he scored Senegal’s second goal.

49ers begin to show intent in the transfer market
In recent years, some promoted clubs have been accused of not doing enough to try and stay in the Premier League.
We have seen the likes of Norwich and Burnley, who don’t spend a lot of money in the transfer market and seem happy enough to try and yo-yo between the top divisions.
However, it seems that Leeds are willing to give it a real go.

Habib Diarra 2024-25 statistics
Backed by the funds of the 49ers Enterprises group, the Whites have already confirmed the signings of Bijol and Lukas. Now, they’re going hell for leather to try and get Diarra through the door.
With Junior Firpo and Mateo Joseph potentially leaving for Spain, there should be funds available for even more transfers before Leeds kick off their Premier League campaign on 18 August.
All signs are pointing to an exciting summer as Leeds prepare for their return to the top flight.
