Manchester United’s pre-season preparations are soon to be underway, with Ruben Amorim set to lead his first full campaign at the helm.
The club’s ongoing efforts to trim the squad continue behind the scenes, with several fringe players still expected to leave Old Trafford before the new season kicks off.
While focus remains on high-profile potential arrivals in midfield and defence, the club’s attacking surplus also needs to be addressed urgently.

United have made it clear that permanent solutions are preferred over loans, with revenue generation and wage reduction key to Amorim’s rebuilding plans.
And now, one of the club’s most high-profile misfits is edging closer to a summer departure.
Jadon Sancho is once again making headlines across Europe, with Juventus now intensifying talks over a potential move.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness, the Serie A giants are in ‘very hot’ contact with Sancho’s entourage and view him as a top attacking priority alongside Jonathan David.
The report states Juventus sporting director Damien Comolli is personally pushing for the deal and is eager not to repeat last year’s failure, when the club lost out to Chelsea in the final stretch.

United, however, are only interested in a permanent sale or a loan deal with a mandatory purchase clause before Sancho’s contract expires next year.
Juventus, on the other hand, are pushing for a loan with an option to buy or a conditional obligation, based on performance-related triggers.
The Red Devils have priced the winger at around €18 million, while Turkish outlet reports suggest Fenerbahce have offered a wage package of €10–12m net — a figure Juventus are reluctant to match.
Despite the high wage demands, the Italian side remain keen and believe a compromise could be reached, especially with Jadon Sancho open to reviving his career away from the Premier League spotlight.
The England international is also reportedly on the radar of Napoli, but Juventus appear to be leading the chase for his signature.
After a dramatic fallout with Erik ten Hag and a short loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho’s Old Trafford journey seems to be nearing its end — and Turin could be his next stop.
