Everton are going to have to make the most of some opportunities that may present themselves this summer.
The Friedkins are ready to financially back Everton in the market, but the club are going to have to play it smart.
David Moyes has a lot of work needing to be done to bolster his squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign kicking off.
A lot of Everton players are departing at the end of the month as their contracts come to a conclusion.
Big holes are being left in the squad as a result, and Everton are prioritising attacking signings to improve the quality on offer for Moyes.
It has been a priority for Moyes since the moment he walked back through the doors at Finch Farm, and a big opportunity may have just presented itself.

Everton have real interest in Malick Fofana
Among a list of names, Everton are keen to sign Malick Fofana from Lyon this summer, with the winger impressing a number of Premier League teams.
Chelsea are believed to have opened talks over a potential move for the 20-year-old this summer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
However, there are a host of Premier League sides who are looking at Fofana as an option to bolster their attacking options.
Everton have lost Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom at the end of their respective loans.
And adding a player like Fofana could certainly provide the Everton fans with a boost of excitement ahead of the new campaign.
The Belgian has shown he is capable of playing on both sides of the pitch, which would certainly be of use to Everton.
Fofana’s nine goal contributions have put him on the map last season, but the £45m asking price may prove an issue.
There has now been a major development that could help Everton to land a cut-price deal for the winger.
Lyon handed Ligue 1 relegation over financial issues
John Textor was left furious over his failed Everton bid, but the American now has bigger issues to solve in France with Lyon.
His French giants have now been relegated down to Ligue 2 following their recent battle with financial issues.
It appears to be a lucky escape for Everton in landing The Friedkin Group as their new owners instead of Textor.
But this will provide clubs with a huge opportunity to exploit the issues at Lyon, with the French side in need of generating some funds.
Another issue for Textor is whether his top players would be willing to play and battle for promotion from Ligue 2.
A big opportunity is on the table for Everton this summer to potentially land themselves a bargain.
