Arsenal are exploring a deal to sign Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.
The Gunners are in the market for a host of reinforcements for the summer transfer window, with Fabrizio Romano recently confirming that a deal is now done for Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Martin Zubimendi is also set to join the north London club.
It's already shaping up to be a busy period for Arsenal in the market, and it's no surprise after falling so short in the Premier League title race during the 2024/2025 season. Deals for a new midfielder and goalkeeper are now edging closer to completion, but they are in the market for further reinforcements in the middle of the park.

Ornstein has now reported that Arsenal have made a bid of around €11m to sign Brentford midfielder Norgaard, with the Danish international keen on a move. The Gunners are awaiting a reply from the Bees, who recently extended his contract until 2027.

Norgaard, described as 'phenomenal', is among the options being considered due to a potential exit for Thomas Partey. Although Zubimendi appears to be coming through the door in the next few weeks, Jorginho also departed this summer, so Mikel Arteta could be left short of options in midfield without the additions of Zubimendi and Norgaard.
It's unclear whether Brentford will be willing to part ways with Norgaard for a fee of €11m, but he would provide the Gunners with some Premier League experience for Arteta.
