Everton eye move for Leeds United star

Teamtalk are now reporting that the Toffees have their eye on a move for Dan James. Everton believe they can swoop in and get the Welshman on a cut price deal, as his contract expires next year.
But as already stated earlier this week, James is keen on renewing his deal at Elland Road. Leeds will reportedly offer him a new two-year contract with the club. The Welshman is happy in West Yorkshire and is keen on continuing his career at Leeds United since he returned to the club a few seasons ago.

The Welsh winger added a more cutting edge to his game this season. This is the second season in a row that he has scored more than 10 league goals. James has really found his role in the team under Daniel Farke. After criticisms of being just a speedster with no end product, the 27-year old has now had consecutive seasons with 20 goals and assists.

Leeds must do everything in their power to keep him past next season. In the Premier League, James will be a very useful asset – his pace and finishing will cause all sorts of problems for opponents.
