Newcastle United have already secured the services of one Spanish youngster this summer, with Antonio Cordero set to join the club officially next week.
However, a new report from Spain has suggested that the Magpies are not done when it comes to snapping up exciting Spanish talent.
Newcastle have their eye on Valencia's César Tárrega, according to El Desmarque (via Sport Witness).
The 23-year-old was part of the Spain U21 side that fell to a 3-1 defeat to England's Young Lions on Saturday and will now return to Valencia, but for how long?

César Tárrega - A target for Newcastle?
Newcastle are one of several clubs looking at César Tárrega
Despite being on the losing side on Sunday, the central defender's performances have caught the eye of other clubs around Europe.
Fotmob shows that Tárrega played over 80 accurate passes per 90 in the European Championships and was joint-top scorer for the Spanish side with ... one goal!
While Newcastle and Bologna are mentioned by name in the report by El Desmarque, they do claim that other Premier League clubs are also keen on the defender.

There doesn't seem to be a lot in this link for us
It doesn't look like it will be an easy deal to do, however, as Tárrega's contract doesn't expire until 2028, and Sport Witness claims that he's already indicated a desire to sign an extension at Valencia.
At 23, Eddie Howe would be expecting him to go straight into the first-team, you'd imagine, and while he still has targets like Marc Guehi in his sights, we'd expect Tárrega to be way down the list of priorities, that is if he's even on there at all.
This one looks like a non-starter to us, but it may be a name to keep an eye out for in the future.
