Manchester United’s transfer activity has accelerated as Ruben Amorim starts to reconstruct his squad in anticipation of the forthcoming campaign.

Since they are unable to play in the Champions League, United have recognised several attacking opportunities across Europe and are aware that they must act quickly to prevent losing out.

United’s first major signing came with Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, with The Red Devils agreeing his £62.5 million release clause to move to Old Trafford.

However, United haven’t stopped there and are now actively pursuing a move for Cameroon star Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Manchester United have reached an agreement with Brentford for their star attacker.

The Cameroon international has been pushing for the move since giving priority to the Red Devils for over a month now, however Brentford have been holding firm on their valuation.

United’s initial £55 million bid was rejected by The Bees, however their second £60 million bid has now been accepted, with add-ons making the deal comparable to that of Cunha.

This accompanies the club’s agreement with Mbeumo on personal terms as Ruben Amorim’s ambitious project has been a key factor to his desire to move to Old Trafford.

Amorim is faced with the challenge of rebuilding Manchester United to return the club to the top of world football, using the summer transfer window as a key starting point.

Now, the Portuguese manager is set to have another incredible asset in his ranks for next season.

In 42 games for Brentford, the Cameroon international has scored 20 goals and provided nine assists, demonstrating his incredible season.

Bryan Mbeumo is set to become United’s second major attacking reinforcement of the summer, adding pace, finishing ability, and versatility on the flanks or as a second striker.
